I do not accept insurance at this time. Unfortunately, insurance companies often do not cover services such as home visits or multiple sessions per week. These are sometimes needed services, but ones I am not able to provide if I contract with insurance companies. Moreover, the complicated nature of insurance companies can sometimes act as a barrier to obtaining coverage or payment for services which then has a negative impact on treatment or results in an unpleasant surprise for you when you receive a bill that you were not expecting. I prefer to operate without those barriers or limitations.
If you would like to utilize any “out-of-network” benefits that may be available through your insurance plan, I will provide you with documentation (insurance calls this a “superbill”) that you can submit to your insurance company to seek reimbursement. I suggest you contact your insurance company prior to scheduling with me so you can inquire about what type of coverage/reimbursement you can expect from your insurance company if you plan to use these benefits.
